WHAT??

Where did the week go?!?!?!?!... i feel like i was just telling aaron that we needed to make a quick one-day jaunt to Flagstaff (of course, you know how much i love this place) to see family and of course eat at Lafonda on saturday....... Aaron and i decided to be health conscious and share the WONDERFUL jaw-dropping special and pair it with a knock-you-off-your-block $2.00 Margie!!!! Boy we were in heaven....(we really did feel like we were running to flag in desperate mode, i guess better than emo, right?)

What a busy day they were having, but man! i was impressed with the quick execution of our order... i was surprised by the amount of non-natives hitting up the place! i guess the word's out guy's.... we will have to start sacrificing our mall time to score some great seats. :)

Say hi to cheapest yummy margarita.... if you don't love it.... well, i will. :)

of course Flagstaff never loses it's beauty and small town charm..... i never get tired of saying... (sigh)..... i heart you Flagstaff :) i hope to go back soon..... Hope your weekend was great and also enjoyed all the facebook posts about the everyone eating at LaFonda... we all had her on our minds! :)

This guy....

has a huge part of my heart.....maybe even the whole thing.... this boy is turning into quite the young inquisitive maternal challenger! he pushes my buttons more than once at a time, he melts my heart with this smile, knows how to make me feel uber special, he's great at snuggling, gives me sneaked kisses when he really needs them, has a love for oreo cookies that can only be genetic, he has a way of turning a dull moment into a fun one,

he tells funny jokes and is quite the movie one-liner, he craves my opinion and may not always take it, says things to get my attention, loves gummie bears like no other, knows immediately when i'm giving him mean eyes, wants to teach me to golf, thinks i'm cool enough to play with his legos, loves to teach me new things, prefers cats, loves to build forts, & most importantly loves GOD.

Although he is growing up soooo fast, i have to take every opportunity to catch all the milestones ... even when i may be super annoying and taking too many pictures..... that's a sacrifice i love making ;) He wants to push fast forward and live his grown pga life ... when all i want is for him to stay small and easy to carry forever.

Reason #1 to start running.... the joy of buying new nike running shoes..... right?? or is it to be healthy?? i prefer the shoes... and well the feeling after you're done, even when you didn't think you would make it..... yup! one of the best feelings since....well, wearing your new Keds back in 6th grade :)

This week was pretty easy... i may have to say... it was an intro to running.... kind of like Running 101.... pretty equivalent to being Lindsey Lohan 101... step one... have one drink, and go home.. well you know how that turns out... i have a looooongggg way to go... and i may even be caught looking like her passed out in a mercedes... but on my couch exhausted, but sober. :) This week I am increasing the running interval times and tossing in a little Jillian action to assist in muscle tone.... ohhhh... Jillian we have a love hate relationship.... i love her body, but hate what she makes me do.....

Wishing you luck in your fittness goals.... hopefully i can one day be like my brother, who is a running machine... and run 26.2 miles.... but at least for now... i can settle for the .2.... lol! :) Have a wonderful day getting ready for the week!

If the walls could talk....

.... they would tell you this house is dirty!.... Today we spent the day avoiding our house and the responsibilites of cleaning it by enjoying a FREE day at the Museum of Natural History:) .....

However, before leaving the house... i managed to muster up enough energy to decorate a once bare wall, with a couple of decorative touches.... or clutter.... :) (you say toemaytoe... i say toemaytoe :)

Yesterday we went to Flagstaff for a quick road trip to take pictures, enjoy the nice cooler weather, visit with family & friends, and of course, eat lunch at LaFonda.... btw... has the best Saturday Special and $2.00 margarita!!!

With my two guys in tow I was even able to manager a quick shopping trip into Pier 1.... Thanks to my sister Tomi,she brought her hubby. Him and A babysat each other quite well :), while we made a couple laps around in the store... of course hitting up the sale racks!! who can't turn down items on sale... right?


So this morning.... i kept thinking about the things I have had laying... i mean storing around the house to collaborate on this bare wall... im sure not the next HGTV design star.. but hope you approve of this.. :)

not to be a sentimental mush or anything i bought the above picture because it reminded me of our Pastor.... he ALWAYS blesses us with this verse at the end of each church service and well.... it makes me feel special :)


a little closer look of the detail..... added texture to the wall.... i probably just made myself sound stupid... oh well... someone has to get this house decorated... right?!

Coupon Run = Success

In the midst of a busy day.... i kept worrying about my coupons that were expiring today.... and the new policy that Fry's is no longer going to take competitors coupons.... so that mean i needed to go out with a BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

picture 2..... score at walgreens a.k.a. WAGS!!! Paid a total of 13.46!!!! the toilet paper came in at 1.50 each!!!!!! wow.... i think we are ready to toilet paper a house!! :) jk!

Totally Random Blabbing....

Numbero uno: bath and body works antibacterial soap.... back in the diz-ay i loved the beaded soap version and slowly grasped a love-hate relationship with it... because.... 1. it never fully empties....2. it pumps to a hand ratio of arsenio hall.... and those are some big hands... and the well the rest just goes wasted on the side of the container....... after some time the bbw folks know how to pull me in once again.... and made the anti-bacterial foam hand wash!!! switch-o change-o ... Shannon was back in love !! and every year they go on sale and we stock up! McCabe Staple #1 was born :) exhibit A: hand soap hoarding... keeping it real... i suggest it in daily sale doses or if your like me go for the full monty!

Next item up.... William Sonoma hand towels.... ahhhh.... make me happy just saying it. They are abbbbbb soooooo lutely theeee BEST! and my opinion is not based on the material name.... but the quality!! they hands down will last longer than any other costco/ross/wally-world towel will.... let me introduce McCabe Staple # 2.......
